OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS |
LOADING 5-UMI CELLS :- Take 5Nos. Um-1 size new leak proof cells (Do nor take old/consumed cells). Unscrew the front side of the Cell Housing by rotating anti clock wise by hand, Inside the cells housing, you shall see a diagram indicating the cells housing, you shall see a diagram indicating the direction of cells.

Insert 5Nos. Um-1 sise cells inside the cell housing as per polarity indicated ( the positive of cell is to be kept outwards you). Replace or screw the lid back to housing and moderately tighten the lid.
Connecting Microphone - Insert P-38 jack of the microphone (provided) to the MIKE INPUT socket Switch ‘ON’ the on-off switch on the body of mike.
Rotate on-off black knob clockwise, a click shall be heard indicating that system in ‘ON’ A RED LED light shall be visible from LED indicator near the knob. Adjust the knob to give the desired output. If feedback or howling occur, reduce the volume.
Speak with mike close to the mouth (one or two cms. from the lips).
Take out the dry cells when the megaphone is not to be used for long time.
The megaphone can also be economically used on 6V Car/ Motor cycle battery. First insert the Red jack of battery lead to (+) socket and black jack to (-) socket at EXT BAT. Then join battery clips to EXTERNAL BATTERY WITH Red clip to Red terminal and Black clip to Green terminal. When using External battery, remove inside cells.
An adjustable shoulder strap has been provided for convenience of use.
