REVERBERATION EFFECT:-
1. Advance ‘REPEAT’ control from ‘0’ to ‘8’ and reduce ‘DELAY’ control from ‘8’ to ‘4’. A very nice REVERBERATION EFFECT or ‘HALL EFFECT’ shall be heard. Around 50% direct & 50% echoed sound is mixed and then fed back to create this effect.
2. Increasing ‘DELAY’ from ‘4’ to upwards shall enhance ‘Echo’ in the above effect and similarly decreasing it shall decrease ‘Echo’ effect.
3. Increasing ‘REPEAT’ shall increase intensity or repetitions, while Decreasing it shall decrease repetitions.
ECHO EFFECT:-
1. As stated above for maximum ‘ECHO’ or Delay, keep ‘DELAY’ control at ‘10’ maximum. Advance ‘REPEAT’ control from ‘0’ to ‘6’. The ‘ECHO VOL’ shall remain at ‘8’.
2. A nice ‘ECHO’ shall be heard at this position. The Delay between ‘DIRECT’ & ‘ECHOED’ sound is maximum at this position.
3. If ‘REPEAT’ is further advanced the repetitions continue endlessly. Similarly reducing this shall reduce the repetitions and at ‘0’ position, as stated above only one Echoed sound shall be heard.
OTHER MIXING OPTIONS:-
1. In above positions, we have mixed 50% each of ‘DIRECT’ & ‘ECHOED’ sound, Keeping ECHO VOL. at around ‘8’.
2. If ECHO VOL. Is reduced from ‘8’ to ‘0’ , the Echo level in the net output shall decrease, while DIRECT shall increase.
3. Similarly increasing it from ‘8’ to ‘10’ Echo ratio shall increase. And If this is reduced to ‘0’. The Echo effect shall be also be Zero and only ‘DIRECT’ sound shall be heard in output.
With little knowledge, experience and practice you can adjust controls as explained above, for best results and a very ‘live’ performance. Please practice for sufficient time so that you are expert in setting different ‘SOUND EFFECTS’ quickly.
