DESCRIPTION
|
Model AR-160E is a compact Auto-Reverse Cassette Player Pre-Amplifier. This is specially designed for use in combination with any P.A. Amplifier like any of our Models RSB-80E, RSB-110E, RSB-160E, RSB-300E etc. or with Booster Amplifiers like our model RB-300E or RPA-5000M for playing recorded Music.
Auto Reverse Deck is best for all such uses where continuous music is required to be played. As ‘A’ side finishes, Auto reverse mechanism shifts to side ‘B’ of cassette. Again when side ‘B’ finishes, the mechanism shifts back to ‘A’ and so on. Best for channel music in Hotels / Restaurants etc.
This operates on 220V AC Mains and 12-24V DC or Car Battery. A very special feature of this is its ability to operate perfectly over 12V to 24V DC supply source.
LED light shall glow as soon as On/off switch is switched ‘ON’ when any of the two-power sources is connected.
Automatic changeover from AC to DC or cells, in case of AC failure. When both AC lead & DC are connected to the unit and AC supply fails, then unit will automatically draw power from DC. |

| AC & BATTERY OPERATION |
- Insert AC lead to nearest AC socket. Connect power amplifier by connecting JP-JP3 lead from J-2 socket at the back. Keep amplifier controls at desired position.
- 12V or 24V Car battery or any other DC power source can be connected to the Battery strip at the backplate. Be sure to connect positive pole of battery to + terminal (red wire) and negative pole to – terminal (black wire). However due to reverse battery protection inside, the power LED shall light only when battery lead is connected correctly.
|
|
|
| |
| OUTPUT |
| Output of 250mV has been provided through J-2 socket. Connect a JP-JP3 lead from this socket to 150mV or 200mV Aux./Line of a P.A. Amplifier or a booster. However, its output can also be connected to 50mV or 100mV Aux. inputs of amplifier. Place the unit to the left of Power amplifier to avoid hum. |
